CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, September 20, 2004 – Jerry T. Kendall, President and Chief Executive Officer of Technology Research Corporation (TRC), (NASDAQ-TRCI), announced that it has received orders for $998,050 to supply its Fire Shield LCDI Cord Sets to a major appliance manufacturer for use as power cords on room air conditioners.   Deliveries are targeted to coincide with their initial manufacturing cycle for the upcoming season and are expected to be completed in December 2004. 

Kendall said, “We are pleased that TRC continues to be chosen to supply its Fire Shield LCDI Power Cords for this important safety application.”   He added, “The Company is currently negotiating supply agreements with two other major air conditioning manufacturers as well as pursuing other opportunities.  This brings our current total of announced orders for this application to approximately $4.0 million.”
